COSMATO_

The elegant and refined Cosmato wallpaper is inspired by the characteristic workmanship ornamental, called “cosmatesca”, with which walls and floors have been identified Romans of the 12th and 13th centuries, already with Byzantine influences.
The characteristic design generates a repetitive succession of linear or wavy lines called “guillochè”, which returns a prestigious visual effect and very close to the perception of art.
The project aims to revive, highlighting the artisanal craftsmen of the time with a temporal parallel in a modern key using the ancient style as a starting point for the new collections Jungle, Pizzo, Cosmato and Cerchi.
